The stock engine cases of the Suzuki DR650 are lightweight thanks to being a magnesium alloy but both thin and brittle.
 
As a result, they are vulnerable to damage (cracks or punctures from impact) from the bike's shift/brake levers and directly from rocks.
 
By installing this set of case savers, save yourself the cost of replacing expensive engine cases and possibly getting stranded in a remote place.
 
These are premium carbon fibre case covers, ultra-lightweight, and impact resistant with a sturdy gloss finish. They are exclusively handmade for us, by European fibercraft makers.
 
Our kit includes the clutch cover, ignition cover, and a 3oz tube of clear RTV silicone adhesive for a clean installation. This RTV is the good stuff that can withstand heat, oil, and gas from an engine, not your bathroom caulking.
 
Note: Like with any case covers, the best way to create effective protection against the hardest of impacts, is to use a generous amount of RTV on the whole surface of the covers. This creates a cushion to diffuse the blow very effectively.
