Look closely at the stock rear brake pedal on your Suzuki DR650?
 
Nothing much to it except that you really feel like the bike was designed +20 years ago when you look at this part! It's literally a stamped heavy gauge steel sheet that offers very little lateral rigidity, a tiny tip with no grip.
 
If you fall and slide it's common to curl it back like a banana peel and it simply runs a rough pivot in the frame. The stock pedal is also incompatible with lowered footpeg and center stand configuration due to its straight arm shape.
 
This CNC rear brake pedal is a solid replacement for the DR to address all those issues with a modern design and construction:
 
The arm is machined from an aluminum billet and is beefy 8mm thick.

Note:
The kit also includes a modern aluminum clevis. If you run lowered footpeg bracket, simply cut off about 6mm of the master cylinder threaded rod. This will give you the clearance you need to set the brake pedal at the correct height (slightly above the peg level).
