Just replace the stock fuel mixture screw with this extended one. It's much easier to fine-tune your bike. What does this screw do? It sets the air-fuel ratio at idle and early throttle opening by allowing more or less fuel.
 
It's a great addition to installing a jet kit or any other performance mods where you must re-adjust your carburation to the optimum. If you are travelling temporarily at a higher altitude than usual, this would also help to lean out the low end.

Re-use your stock washer, spring and o-ring.
Only for the stock carburetor, the Mikuni BST40 and it will also fit the TM40. It won't work if you have something else like the Keihin FCR-MX39.
