The Doubletake Mirror Base Kit is the same set you get with the new generation of mirror. This is an upgraded larger ball for the base on the handlebar. Combine it with the newer arms sold separately to upgrade your mirrors!

1.125" Ball Stud,
10mm x 1.25 bolt long and short
Reverse thread bolt 10mm x 1.25
10mm x 1.5 short bolt
Lock washer.
 
Universal Fit: Every ball kit includes four bolts to allow fitment to any bike and eliminate unsightly adapters. 
 
Larger size: Our ball is 1.125”, and even that slight increase in diameter makes a big difference in rigidity. This means you don’t have to overtighten the arm to keep it from moving while riding.
 
Won't Crush: The aluminum-filled base ball, coated with high-quality nitrile rubber won’t degrade under extended compression. You won’t have to repeatedly adjust your mirrors.
 
Won't spin: A lock washer secures the ball on the bar mount.
