The handlebar ball base adapter is a convenient way to attach a ball mount system anywhere on your bar. It uses a universal 1" ball allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
It's a sturdy plastic construction to keep the weight low (50% lighter than a RAM product) but still plenty strong to hold your device no matter the terrain!
Our kit also includes x2 U-bolts to fit all types of handlebar diameters:
- If you have a standard 7/8" diameter, use the smaller U-bolt anywhere on the bar.
- If you have an oversized 1"1/8 diameter, use the larger U-bolt in between the clamps or the smaller U-bolt near the grips.
Note: Another difference we like very much, is the use of metric hardware (10mm Nyloc nuts).
Your bike is metric, you carry metric tools in your trail kit, why the heck carry an imperial wrench solely to readjust your ball mount system?!!! No thank you RAM!
This product is only a ball base, within the ball mount system. You may need to purchase other components to complete your setup.
