It is designed to go over the original mount and is retained by a stainless steel pin through the peg pivot mount and locked in place using the lower sprocket cover bolt location. This add-on peg mount relocates your boot for significantly improved access to your shifter.
 
Made from high-quality aluminum, this left peg mount is designed specifically for the XR650L, to move the peg rearwards by 1.88” (48mm)
 
For the best tunability, you can also use the Hemisphere Offroad Adjustable Gear Shifter.
 
It's easy to install with the included hardware, simply reuse the peg pivot pins and springs.
