Do you have a recent year Suzuki DR650 (2019-Current) or DR-Z400 (2020-Current)?
 
Are you wondering what this unsightly assortment of hoses and a canister on your bike is? Apart from sapping some power, this system is an air injector so that the bike meets EPA standards but robs the engine of its true grunt.
 
Remove those parts and shave over a pound off your bike using our PAIR System and Charcoal Canister Delete Kit. There'll be no more popping on deceleration and a much better throttle response.
 
The PAIR system feeds fresh air into the exhaust to aid in the combustion of unburned fuel. It was designed to improve emissions but will cause problems with many aftermarket exhausts/mufflers.
 
PAIR Valve delete:
Use the machined billet aluminum block-off plate for the cylinder (reuse the gasket or replace it with the one included)
The small black cap is used to plug the T, or remove the T entirely and connect the petcock vacuum line directly to the carb.
 
If you are installing an aftermarket tank with a simple ON/OFF/RES petcock (not vacuum controlled), our Fuel Supply Kit also includes a cap for the carb top.
 
The Charcoal Canister is another emission control system on newer DRs, Californian and European DR650s. The Yamaha T700 also has this apparatus. See our kit HERE.
 
Remove the canister located behind the left-hand side panel (this makes room for a pipe tool box by the way!) and disconnect the lines that go on the bike.
Using the red cap supplied, block the carburetor brass spigot under the bowl (32E6, 32E9 type carb, possibly other references).
 
The line coming down from the tank is best kept connected to the tank but re-routed somewhere to breathe a bit higher than the airbox top. This is your tank venting line on newer models. Older DR without charcoal canister have the vent in the cap.
