The stress on our luggage is often underestimated when we ride through corrugated or washboard forest roads, rocky terrain, and nasty weather.
 
Most rackless systems require you to attach the side webbing straps to an anchor point close to your footpegs. These straps can usually be attached to the passenger footpeg bracket or the frame, but some bikes lack good tie-down points.
 
Our Strap Anchor Kit is an excellent option for our rackless luggage systems. We designed these anchors to provide a solid tie-down option for a reliable installation. You can also use spacers if you need to clear your crash bars.
 
They can be mounted on a passenger footpeg bolt or any other bolts you may have in the area (up to 8mm, unlike some cleats). They can also be attached to plastic body parts as a rear fender if strong enough (use large washers).

The webbing anchor is laser cut from 2.5mm stainless steel (no more breaking cleats) and uses a quick-release slot to install or remove your strap by releasing the tension. There is no need to remove it from the buckle on your harness.
 
NEW OPTION:  For those who prefer it, we have a "no slit" variant available. Great for the utmost reliability in attaching your bags, also works better if your straps are soft or have a smaller width. There is no chance of the webbing slipping out of the anchor!
