If you want more information than the basic speedo found on the Suzuki DR-Z400 S and E, the Trail Tech Vapor Speedometer and Tachometer has a long list of functions that help you stay aware of what's happening during your ride.
The Trail Tech Vapor is small dashboard computer (about 4.2 x 2.3 inches) with lots of features that make it perfect for all your adventures.
The Vapor back-lit display shows the speed, tach, engine temperature, ambient temperature, trip distance, clock, ride time, and permanent odometer. The latter can be set at whatever your bike mileage is already. Maximum values are recorded for temperature, speed, and RPM (reset trip data to start fresh max values.) You can use the built-in stopwatch to time yourself or the resettable trip distance to gauge your fuel range.
Installation is straightforward, thanks to the PDF instructions (See "Learn More" section).
- Install the power lead and the three sensors (wheel pickup, tach and temp)
- Set all the parameters like tire size, temperature warning lights, and much more!
The computer has a smart wake-up/sleep feature with very minimal current consumption, so it has no impact on the bike battery. An internal battery will save your settings when you remove the bike battery.
The Trai Tech Vapor kit 752-113 is designed to replace an entire instrument cluster, such as the one found on our bushpig bikes, and offers much more useful information on your machine while on your trips.
