If you are replacing your tires, it's always a good idea to check on the state of your tubes! Tubes wear over time and can become more susceptible to punctures.
The Tusk Heavy Duty Motorcycle Tube is the perfect replacement for your leaky or punctured tube. This tube is thicker than the stock ones found in most bikes, usually around 1-1.3mm. Those wear down quickly, and you'll get a flat sooner than later, even on a recent bike!
Made from a quality butyl rubber, this tube is 2mm thick and maintains strength and durability while being lightweight. Here at Bushpig headquarters, we are not fans of very thick tubes such as the 4mm type, for ADV riding.
Since you are not riding an MX bike with only 10psi of pressure, the thicker tubes add no benefits at all. They only increase weight (unsuspended weight, a.k.a the wheels, is the most critical on a bike) and aren't significantly more puncture-resistant than the 2mm.
Those tubes are equipped with a TR-4 valve stem, which is the universal type you know, with two nuts to go underneath and above the rim.
Get one for your tire job coming soon or get one for your spare kit to fix a flat on the trails! They don't take much space to keep somewhere on the bike.
